I have just recently joined NLA and am working through reading the handbooks! I have also sent out a couple dozen emails to some trustworthy friends in my county and several others in my area, hoping that helps get us more established here in Iowa!
Is there anyone in the Benton County area already a member?
Are there are COS's up and running here in Iowa? Just looking for any direction that may be available from someone local :)

Hello Ashley of Benton county, my name is Sarah and like you I am new to all this myself. I've been around about a month right. I'm sorry I'm not in Iowa I'm in North Carolina. I read your profile and I believe we feel the same way about things and that's how we got here. Lol, I'm halfway into the course, must say some parts are easier than others and spelling counts in the free civics courses. I've read the handbooks front to back, I'm so ready to start this in my area as well, I can't find anyone who wants to actually do something.
